Job Purpose

To supervise nursing services during the assigned shift and ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate nursing activities across assigned departments/units.
- Ensure adequate staffing and proper allocation of nursing duties.
- Monitor quality and safety of patient care and ensure compliance with nursing protocols.
- Conduct regular rounds and address patient-care-related concerns.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth patient management.
- Handle and escalate nursing emergencies, incidents, and patient/attendant complaints.
- Ensure proper medication, documentation, handover, infection-control, and safety practices.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, grooming,



and performance of nursing staff.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff during the shift.
- Maintain shift reports and ensure effective handover to the next shift.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, NABH standards, and applicable regulations.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid registration.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant clinical nursing experience, preferably with supervisory experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
