Job Summary :

Responsible for stamping die and tooling management, including die maintenance, repair, modification, trials, and troubleshooting. The role ensures tool availability, optimum tool life, minimum downtime, and smooth production support by coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams. Requires good knowledge of press tools, stamping dies, die setting, engineering drawings, and sheet-metal components.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain stamping dies, press tools, fixtures, and related tooling.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of stamping dies.
- Monitor tool performance and ensure minimum downtime during production.
- Perform die setting, trial, inspection, correction, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams for tooling issues.
- Analyze die-related defects such as burr, crack, wrinkle, dimensional variation, and improper forming.
- Carry out die modification, repair, grinding, fitting, and other corrective activities.
- Maintain tool history, maintenance records, tool-life records, and spare-part inventory.
- Ensure dies are properly stored, identified, preserved, and available as per production requirements.




- Support recent die development, die trials, and tool validation.
- Read and understand tool drawings, component drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to 5S, safety, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with external tool vendors for die repair, modification, and development activities.
- Identify opportunities for tool-life improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.

Required Skills :

- Good knowledge of stamping dies and sheet-metal press tools.
- Knowledge of press machines, die setting, tool maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of MS Office/Excel and tool maintenance documentation.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under production pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification :

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or related engineering field.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
