Job Summary

Our client, a well-established garment manufacturing and export company in Tiruppur, is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to manage garment production planning and execution from Pre-Production (PP) Meeting through shipment.

The role will be responsible for preparing and monitoring the Master T&A; Plan, developing detailed micro plans, coordinating with factory and merchandising teams, monitoring daily progress, identifying production delays and bottlenecks, and maintaining strong Plan vs. Actual performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaster T&A; Planning

- Prepare and maintain the Master T&A; Plan from order receipt through shipment.
- Cover all major production milestones and processes in the T&A; schedule.
- Monitor execution from PP Meeting through shipment.
- Track planned dates against actual progress.
- Identify potential delays and coordinate timely corrective action.

Micro Planning

Prepare, maintain and monitor detailed plans covering:

- PP Meeting
- Size Set
- Fabric & Trims Receipt
- Fabric Checking
- Cutting
- Printing
- Embroidery
- Loading
- Sewing Start & End
- Pre-Final
- Final

Daily Production Monitoring

- Monitor micro-plan activities on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with Factory Managers and production teams for Unit 2 and Unit 3.
- Track planned versus actual progress.
- Identify bottlenecks and risks affecting shipment timelines.
- Follow up with responsible teams on pending activities and corrective actions.

Merchandising Coordination

- Communicate T&A; deviations and production updates to the merchandising team through daily email reports.
- Maintain explicit communication regarding production progress, delays and critical milestones.
- Coordinate with factory and merchandising teams for timely order execution.

Capacity Planning





- Monitor installed capacity against order booking capacity.
- Prepare and update capacity information monthly.
- Share capacity updates with the merchandising team.
- Highlight capacity gaps and potential production constraints.

Reporting

- Maintain planning and production reports accurately and on time.
- Prepare Plan vs. Actual reports and production status updates.
- Circulate relevant reports to concerned stakeholders.
- Maintain visibility of production schedules and execution status.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in garment production planning.
- Strong knowledge of T&A; planning and micro planning.
- Good understanding of garment production processes from PP Meeting through shipment.
- Knowledge of cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, inspection and loading processes.
- Strong production follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple production activities simultaneously.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Good email communication skills.
- Ability to monitor and improve Plan vs. Actual performance.
- Good understanding of production capacity and order-loading requirements.
- Any Degree qualification.

Preferred Profile

- Practical experience in garment manufacturing and production planning.
- Ability to independently manage T&A; and micro-planning activities.
- Experience coordinating with Factory Managers, production teams and merchandising.
- Strong follow-up, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to identify production risks and coordinate timely corrective action.
- Comfortable working in an in-person garment manufacturing environment in Tiruppur.

Key Performance Expectation

Plan vs. Actual: 95% or above

Compensation

₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month

Compensation may be negotiated based on relevant experience, skills and suitability for the role.
