Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to design and build scalable microservices and APIs that power our AI-enabled platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day development, and the ability to build robust integrations between internal systems, cloud services, and external AI platforms within an Agile delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot to support AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) throughout the development lifecycle to improve code quality, speed, and test coverage.
- Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems, cloud services, and external AI platforms/LLM providers.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka or similar messaging/streaming technologies.
- Contribute to platform components that support enterprise-scale B2B integration scenarios.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following SOLID principles and established design patterns.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and AI engineers on technical design and solution delivery.




- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring application performance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–10 years of hands-on Java development experience, with strong expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security).
- Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools in a professional development workflow.
- Experience integrating applications with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and third-party or AI/LLM APIs.
- Solid understanding of Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging systems and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated testing practices.
- Exposure to B2B integration patterns such as API gateways, webhooks, or EDI is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

Good to Have

- Prior exposure to AI/LLM application development, RAG pipelines, or vector databases.
- Experience in Fintech, Modern Data Stack, or AI platform domains.
- Knowledge of API security standards such as OAuth2 and JWT.
- Experience with API management/gateway tools (Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management).

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
