Hand-Painted & Fashion Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented hand-painted & fashion designer who can work across design development, hand-painted artwork, garment development, and production coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion, fabrics, colors, prints, and garment construction, along with the ability to convert creative ideas into finished products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hand-Painted Designer

- Create original hand-painted designs, motifs, prints, and artwork for garments.
- Develop creative concepts based on seasonal themes and brand aesthetics.
- Experiment with colors, textures, motifs, and different hand-painting techniques.
- Prepare artwork and samples for garment production.
- Ensure consistency, detailing, and quality of hand-painted work.

2. Fashion Designer & Production Coordination

- Develop new garment designs and prepare khakha/sketches for production.
- Create and maintain fabric, color, print, and embroidery swatches.
- Coordinate closely with masters, karigars, tailors, and other production teams to ensure designs are executed correctly.
- Explain design details, measurements, construction, finishing, and detailing to the production team.
- Follow up on samples and make necessary corrections or modifications.
- Develop new silhouettes, detailing,



and design concepts in line with the brand's aesthetic.
- Coordinate from the initial design stage through sampling and final production.
- Ensure the final garment matches the approved design, fabric, colors, and finishing.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and design techniques.

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or relevant experience in fashion designing.
- Solid knowledge of garment construction and fashion design.
- Good at creating designs, sketches, khakhas, and mood boards.
- Hands-on experience with hand painting on fabrics/garments.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, colors, prints, and embellishments.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with masters and karigars.
- Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple designs and samples simultaneously.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in children's fashion / occasion wear / couture wear.
- Knowledge of embroidery, embellishment, printing, and surface development.
- Proficiency in fashion illustration or design software is a plus.
- Strong ability to develop fresh and commercially viable designs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
