Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra

Salary: Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime and complete knowledge of GST. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities, GST compliance and financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accounting entries, ledgers and books of accounts in Tally Prime.
- Handle purchase, sales, expenses, receipts and payment entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers and financial documents.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Handle complete GST-related activities, including GST return filing and GST reconciliation.
- Verify input GST and output GST and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle TDS-related accounting and compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports and other accounting reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors and internal departments.
- Ensure timely completion of GST,



TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Assist in audits and provide required accounting records and documents.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Complete practical knowledge of GST is mandatory.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good knowledge of GST return filing and reconciliation.
- Valuable knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting operations.

Candidate Profile

- Candidate must have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime and GST is required.
- Candidate should be capable of independently managing books of accounts and GST-related activities.
- Candidates with experience in handling complete accounting and statutory compliance will be preferred.
