Plant HR Head

Ganges Internationale Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Plant HR Head to lead the complete Human Resources function at our Pondicherry manufacturing plant.

We are looking for a senior Manufacturing HR / Factory HR professional with 20+ years of HR experience and strong expertise in Industrial Relations, Labour Laws, Statutory Compliance, Manpower Planning and Employee Relations.

The role will lead Plant HR, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Training & Development and HR Compliance while partnering with senior management and plant operations.

Location: Pondicherry | Experience: 15 to 20+ Years | CTC: Up to ₹12 LPA | Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete Plant HR / Factory HR function and align HR strategy with business and manufacturing objectives.
- Manage Industrial Relations (IR), employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, Factories Act, PF, ESIC and other statutory requirements.
- Lead manpower planning, workforce planning, recruitment and employee retention.
- Manage permanent employees, workmen, supervisors and contract labour.
- Drive performance management, training, employee engagement and leadership development.
- Oversee HR operations, payroll, attendance, leave management and HRMS.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and systems to improve plant HR effectiveness.
- Work closely with Plant Operations and senior management to improve employee productivity, capability and organizational effectiveness.
- Use HR MIS and analytics to support workforce and management decisions.




- Support multi-plant HR initiatives and organizational growth.

Candidate Profile

- 15 to 20+ years of overall HR experience with at least 5 years in HR leadership.
- Strong experience in Manufacturing HR / Factory HR / Plant HR.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations, Labour Laws and Statutory Compliance.
- Hands-on experience with PF, ESIC, Factories Act and contract labour management.
- Experience in manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations and HR operations.
- Experience in performance management, training, employee engagement and succession planning.
- Multi-plant HR experience is essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
- MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW or equivalent qualification preferred.
- English, Tamil and Hindi communication skills required.
