Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer – Content/Data to join our quality assurance team at WebSenor in Udaipur.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and quality of website content and data across web applications and digital platforms. The role involves reviewing content, validating data, identifying inconsistencies, testing website functionality, and coordinating with development and content teams to resolve issues.

This position is well suited for candidates who have a strong eye for detail, good analytical skills, and an interest in quality assurance, content validation, and data testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and validate website content, product information, text, images, links, and other digital assets.
- Perform content and data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and formatting.
- Identify and report content, data, UI, and functional defects.
- Perform manual testing of websites and web applications across different browsers and devices.
- Verify website pages, forms, navigation, links, buttons, images, and other user-facing elements.
- Validate data displayed on websites against source data, spreadsheets, databases, or defined requirements.
- Check for missing, duplicate, incorrect, outdated, or inconsistent content/data.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.
- Document defects clearly with steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Perform regression testing after bugs or content issues are fixed.
- Work closely with developers, content teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Maintain QA documentation, testing reports, and defect-tracking records.
- Ensure websites and digital content meet defined quality standards before release.




- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing / Quality Assurance concepts.
- Good understanding of manual testing and test case creation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small content or data inconsistencies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred.
- Basic understanding of websites, web applications, and browser functionality.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with Excel/Google Sheets for data validation and reporting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document bugs and testing results clearly.
- Willingness to learn QA tools, processes, and testing methodologies.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of SQL/database testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of API testing.
- Familiarity with browser Developer Tools.
- Understanding of responsive web testing.
- Exposure to CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in QA, software testing, content QA, or data validation are preferred.
