General Manager – Industrial & Construction Machinery

Role: Lead the overall business, sales, operations and profitability of a machinery retail & distribution business.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales, revenue, profitability and business growth.
- Develop B2B sales and business-development strategies.
- Manage key industrial, construction, infrastructure and institutional customers.
- Lead quotations, negotiations, commercial discussions and order closures.
- Manage OEM, brand, dealer and supplier relationships.
- Oversee procurement, inventory, logistics and order fulfilment.
- Monitor P&L;, margins, receivables, working capital and cash flow.
- Lead and manage sales, operations, technical and support teams.
- Identify new products, markets and business opportunities.
- Track competition, pricing and market trends.




- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and resolve major customer issues.

Ideal Candidate

- 10+ years in industrial machinery, construction equipment, engineering products or capital goods.
- Experience as GM / Business Head / Regional Head / Senior Sales & Operations preferred.
- Strong B2B sales, negotiation and commercial skills.
- Valuable understanding of machinery, applications and after-sales/service.
- Proven team-management and P&L; experience.
- Hands-on, commercially driven and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in an MSME environment.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Education:

- Master's (Preferred)
