Role summary

The Content Manager owns SteelBazaar's editorial engine and search visibility. You will plan and produce content across category landing pages, the news portal, email drips, and FAQs — all optimised for SEO and for AI answer engines (GEO/AEO/AIO). Your writing turns steel-industry complexity into clear, authoritative content that ranks, gets cited, and converts.

Key responsibilities

- Own the editorial calendar and content production across landing pages, blog/news portal, email, and social support.
- Write and optimize SEO/GEO/AEO/AIO content — category and location pages built to rank and to be cited by AI search.
- Create and maintain category landing-page content, USP messaging, and FAQ sets structured for snippets and AI answers.
- Build category-wise automated email drip campaigns and own open/click/conversion performance.
- Coordinate the daily news portal (news.steelbazaar.com) — steel news, price updates, and liquidation alerts.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and message house across all content.
- Partner with performance marketing on landing-page conversion and with social on repurposing content.




- Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, AI-citation/snippet wins, and content-sourced leads.

Requirements (must-have)

- 4–7 years in content marketing with a strong portfolio of published, ranking content.
- Solid SEO knowledge — keyword research, on-page optimisation, content structure, and FAQ/schema thinking.
- Excellent writing and editing skills; able to make technical/industrial topics explicit and compelling.
- Experience with email marketing and drip campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) and analytics.

Good to have

- Awareness of GEO/AEO/AIO — optimising content for AI search and answer engines.
- B2B, industrial, or technical-product content experience.
- Ability to brief designers/video creators and work with a CMS and basic HTML.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
