Career Academy / Education & Career YouTube Project

We are looking for a creative, experienced and professional Video Editor to join our growing YouTube and Social Media project.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 3–5 years of skilled video editing experience
- Strong experience in YouTube video editing
- Excellent knowledge of Shorts, Reels & long-form videos
- Expertise in Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro / After Effects
- Good understanding of cuts, transitions, captions, sound design, colour correction & graphics
- Ability to create engaging educational and informative videos
- Knowledge of YouTube trends, audience retention and watch-time-oriented editing
- Experience with YouTube thumbnails, titles, descriptions and basic SEO will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and other social media formats
- Ability to work with deadlines and multiple videos
- Creative mindset with attention to detail

Responsibilities





- Edit YouTube long-form videos
- Create engaging YouTube Shorts & Reels
- Add subtitles, graphics, animations and sound effects
- Improve viewer retention through effective editing
- Repurpose long videos into multiple short-form videos
- Maintain consistent quality and branding
- Coordinate with the content and social media team

Preference

Candidates with proven experience handling YouTube channels, educational content, personal brands or professional clients will be preferred.

Employment: Full-Time / Freelance / Agency
Location: Patiala / Remote
Remuneration: As per experience and capability
