Lead Architect – Façade & BIM

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Architect – Façade & BIM to lead architectural design, technical documentation and façade-related coordination for complex, large-scale projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Revit, BIM documentation, building-envelope systems and construction-stage coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead architectural design development, technical detailing and documentation for complex projects.
- Manage project deliverables from Design Development through Construction Documentation and Construction Administration.
- Develop and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, façade details and construction documents.
- Lead façade and building-envelope design coordination, including curtain walls, glazing, cladding and exterior enclosure systems.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, façade consultants, contractors and fabricators.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, technical submittals and design changes.
- Ensure design quality, constructability, compliance and coordination across project disciplines.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, technical reviews and quality assurance.
- Identify and resolve design, detailing and construction-related issues.
- Mentor junior architects and BIM team members.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements and industry standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related professional discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in architecture, technical design or façade-related projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM documentation.
- Strong experience in façade systems, including:
- Curtain wall systems
- Unitized and stick systems
- Glazing
- ACP, GFRC and stone cladding
- Canopies, doors, windows and skylights
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction documentation and technical coordination.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, workplace or institutional projects.
- Valuable understanding of construction methods, buildability and quality control.
- Knowledge of international building codes and standards, preferably IBC, accessibility standards, ASTM and AAMA.
- Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with international or U.S.-based projects.
- Experience in façade consultancy, building-envelope design or exterior enclosure systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp, BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.




- Experience coordinating with façade fabricators, contractors and site teams.
