Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Floor Manager to manage the day-to-day activities at the project site. The Floor Manager will coordinate workers, contractors, vendors, materials, and internal teams to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to the approved design, drawings, quality standards, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Site Management

- Manage daily activities on the assigned floor/site.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, fabricators, installers, and other workers.
- Allocate daily tasks and priorities to the workforce.
- Monitor manpower attendance and productivity.
- Ensure the site remains organized, clean, and safe.

2. Work Progress & Scheduling

- Follow the project schedule and ensure daily targets are achieved.
- Track progress of different trades and activities.
- Identify delays and immediately report them to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate activities between different teams to avoid work clashes.
- Ensure work is completed in the correct sequence.
- Follow up on pending work and ensure timely completion.

3. Quality Control

- Inspect ongoing work and ensure it meets approved design and quality standards.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, finishing, installation, and workmanship.
- Identify defects and coordinate rectification.
- Ensure materials and finishes match approved samples and specifications.
- Report quality issues to the Project Manager and relevant team.

4. Drawing & Design Coordination

- Ensure workers are working from the latest approved drawings.
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, site engineers, and Project Managers.
- Clarify drawing or execution-related issues before work begins.
- Communicate site conditions or practical challenges to the design team.




- Ensure design changes are properly communicated to the execution team.

5. Material Management

- Monitor daily material requirements.
- Check material deliveries against approved requirements.
- Ensure materials are stored properly and protected from damage.
- Track material consumption and wastage.
- Inform the Project Manager in advance about material shortages.
- Coordinate with procurement/vendors for timely delivery.

6. Contractor & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with contractors and external vendors working on the floor.
- Ensure vendors understand the required scope and quality standards.
- Monitor vendor work and productivity.
- Coordinate installation schedules.
- Check completed work before handing it over to the next trade.

7. Workforce Management

- Manage and coordinate workers on a daily basis.
- Assign responsibilities according to project priorities.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and work quality.
- Ensure workers follow site rules and safety requirements.
- Resolve day-to-day workforce issues.
- Escalate reliable manpower or performance issues to management.

8. Site Safety & Housekeeping

- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping throughout the floor.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored safely.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure debris and waste are cleared regularly.
- Coordinate with the relevant team regarding site safety requirements.

9. Daily Reporting

- Prepare daily progress reports.
- Record manpower,



completed work, pending work, material requirements, and site issues.
- Take progress photographs where required.
- Maintain records of site activities and delays.
- Report major issues to the Project Manager immediately.

10. Client & Internal Coordination

- Assist the Project Manager during client/site visits.
- Explain day-to-day execution progress when required.
- Ensure client instructions are not implemented without proper approval.
- Coordinate with designers and management regarding site changes.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and workers.

11. Snagging & Handover

- Conduct regular inspections to identify incomplete or defective work.
- Prepare and track snag lists.
- Coordinate rectification with the relevant contractors.
- Ensure all work is completed before final inspection.
- Assist with final handover of the floor/project.

Required Skills

- Strong site management and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of interior fit-out and execution processes.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Good knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, false ceiling, and other interior works.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workers and contractors.
- Good understanding of quality and finishing standards.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp, project reporting, and documentation.

Preferred Experience

- 3–6 years of experience in interior fit-out, construction, architecture, or site execution.
- Experience managing residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail interior projects.
- Previous experience coordinating multiple contractors and trades is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
