Position - Social Officer- Community Development

Qualification- Masters in Social Work (Full-Time) from a recognized university with a specialization in Community Development or similar

Experience- 2 -5 years

Job Profile

· Be part of the inter-disciplinary palliative care team and contribute to the plan of care for patients and their families

Evaluate and devise plans of care for patients and families requiring palliative care, with particular attention to psycho-social and socio-economic issues.

Design and administer awareness programs on palliative care in the community

· Responsible for developing strong Student volunteer base & coordinate Students Initiative in Palliative Care





· Administer the use of print & visual media for promoting the organisation and support fund raising programmes/ events.

· Coordinate the rehabilitation procedure for the beneficiaries & conduct patient development/empowering programmes

· Responsible for community & volunteer mobilisation by developing and implementing various programmes/assignments.

· Conduct Link centre meetings & review the activities and submit reports for review periodically.

· Liaison with Local Self-government, Primary Health Centre, Kudumbasree, local groups, to do social mapping, and resource mapping etc.

· Administer & conduct various training programmes as faculty

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
