Position: Commis 1 / Commis 2 – Continental Cuisine

Job Location: Chandigarh

Experience: 1–3 Years

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per standard recipes.
- Handle daily mise en place and food preparation.
- Assist the Chef in maintaining food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Prepare sauces, soups, salads, pasta, grills, and other Continental dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work station.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Monitor stock and minimize food wastage.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

- Good knowledge of Continental cuisine and basic cooking techniques.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or similar setup preferred.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
