Position: Laundry GSA (Guest Service Associate)
Department: Housekeeping – Laundry
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

The Laundry GSA is responsible for providing efficient and high-quality laundry services for guest garments, hotel linen, and staff uniforms. The role ensures all laundry items are processed according to hotel standards while maintaining cleanliness, quality, and timely delivery. Hotel Experience Mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and package guest laundry, hotel linen, and staff uniforms.
- Ensure all laundry items are handled according to fabric care instructions.
- Inspect garments and linen for stains, damage, and overall quality before delivery.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report damaged items and equipment malfunctions to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely processing and delivery of guest laundry.
- Assist in inventory and stock control of laundry supplies.

Required Qualifications





- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management is an advantage.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the laundry department of a 4-star or 5-star hotel is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of laundry operations and fabric care.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and safety procedures.

Language Requirements

- Basic English communication is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Hindi and Malayalam is preferred.

Mandatory Requirements

- 1–2 years of hotel laundry experience.
- Valuable knowledge of laundry equipment and garment handling.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle laundry loads.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
