Job Description:
Techno Specialist Consulting Engineers Kerala Pvt Ltd, an engineering consultancy specializing in structural steel and tensile fabric structures, is hiring a Structural Design Engineer for our Irumpanam design office. You will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and connection design for structural steel projects, coordinating closely with our detailing and site teams.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with site engineers to understand site requirements and design structures accordingly
- Perform structural analysis and design for structural steel structures
- Prepare structural design calculation reports and technical documentation
- Design connections, including custom connections, using IdeaStatica or manual calculations
- Review and check structural drawings prepared by draughtsmen and Tekla modelers/detailers
- Coordinate with project teams, and liaise with subcontractors,



on design-related requirements
- Ensure design accuracy and compliance with relevant structural codes and standards

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel design
- Strong fundamentals in engineering mechanics, strength of materials, and structural analysis
- Working knowledge of STAAD Pro, with the ability to perform manual design calculations
- Proficiency in connection design, either through IdeaStatica or manual calculations, for custom/non-standard connections
- Experience with tensile fabric shade structures is a strong advantage
- Valuable analytical, communication, and reporting skills

Salary: ₹30,000 – 40,000/month
