We are looking for a skilled and motivated CAD Designer / Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks for part modelling, 3D design, assembly modelling and engineering drafting. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate manufacturing-ready drawings and supporting the production team with design-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Create 3D part models and assemblies using SolidWorks.

* Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances and specifications.

* Convert existing components and concepts into accurate 3D models.

* Prepare and modify engineering drawings for manufacturing.

* Understand GD&T;, fits, tolerances and machining requirements.

* Design and modify mechanical components as per requirements.

* Coordinate with the production and machining teams to resolve design-related issues.

* Make design modifications based on production feedback.

* Maintain proper drawing and revision records.

* Ensure designs are practical and suitable for CNC machining and manufacturing.

Required Skills





* Solid working knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.

* Good understanding of Part Design, Assembly and Drawing modules.

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining will be an advantage.

* Basic understanding of materials, fits, tolerances and standard components.

* Good problem-solving and technical communication skills.

* Ability to work independently as well as with the production team.

Qualification

* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

* 6 months – 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

* Freshers with strong practical knowledge of SolidWorks may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate should be someone who is hands-on with SolidWorks, understands mechanical design and drafting, and can convert a design requirement into a production-ready 3D model and detailed drawing.

Pay: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month
