We are looking for an experienced Manager / Sr. Manager – NPD & R&D; for a reputed organisation in the Rubber Industry.

This is a key role involving the complete New Product Development (NPD) process, from understanding product requirements and coordinating on tool design through vendor development, production trials, quality and final product development.

This is not an in-house production role. The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for coordinating with external vendors and manufacturing partners and managing the overall NPD process from concept to final production.

The ideal candidate should have strong and relevant experience specifically in the Rubber Industry, with exposure to product development, tooling, vendor coordination and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle from concept to final production.
- Understand customer and internal product development requirements.
- Coordinate on tool design and tool development with external tool manufacturers/vendors.
- Identify, coordinate and manage external vendors for product development and production activities.




- Follow up on tooling, samples, trials and product development timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors for production readiness and timely development.
- Work closely with Quality, Production, Procurement and other internal teams.
- Monitor product quality during the development and trial stages.
- Support product testing, validation and quality improvement activities.
- Identify and resolve technical and development-related issues during the NPD process.
- Drive improvements in existing products and development processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and external agencies wherever required.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines, quality standards and cost parameters.

Pay: ₹548,111.49 - ₹812,560.78 per year
