About the Role:
SuperPets, a veterinary multi-speciality clinic in Khar West, Mumbai, is hiring a Ward Helper for our Physiotherapy Department. This role involves assisting with the handling, movement, and daily care of animal patients undergoing physiotherapy treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in shifting, positioning, and restraining animals during physiotherapy sessions
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before sessions (mats, slings, hydrotherapy setup, etc.)
- Clean and sanitize physiotherapy equipment, tables, and ward areas after each use
- Support animals with mobility needs (walking assistance, cart/sling support)
- Maintain hygiene of kennels/cages in the physiotherapy ward
- Assist in feeding, walking, and basic care of animals admitted for physio sessions
- Report any changes in an animal's behavior or condition to the physiotherapist/vet
- Handle basic laundry and stock management of towels, mats, and bedding
- Ensure safety protocols are followed while handling animals (muzzling, leashing, etc.)

Requirements:

- Prior experience in animal handling preferred (veterinary clinic, shelter, or kennel experience is a plus)




- Comfortable with physical work and handling animals of different sizes and temperaments
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends if required
- Compassionate and patient attitude toward animals

Skills Required:

- Physical stamina and strength
- Good observation skills
- Basic communication (Hindi/Marathi/English)
- Team coordination

Work Timings & Leave Policy:

- Shift duration: 9 hours (including 1-hour break) — 8 hours effective working time
- Shift timing options: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (your choice)
- Weekly off: Every Wednesday (fixed)
- 26 paid leaves/year — 21 Privilege Leaves (PL) + 5 Sick Leaves (SL); credited after successful completion of 6-month probation
