- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled robotic systems for industrial and enterprise applications.
- Drive end-to-end execution of robotics projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Develop scalable and production-grade applications across various robotics use cases.
- Define technical roadmaps, solution architectures, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Competency Heads, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance and status updates to leadership and customers.
- Support customer engagements, proof-of-concepts, and solution demonstrations.
- Design and implement solutions involving Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion, Autonomous Systems, and Intelligent Robotics.
- Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts for customer requirements and internal product initiatives.
- Drive innovation through the integration of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies into robotics platforms.
- Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of existing robotics modules and frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of AI and Robotics Engineers.
- Conduct technical reviews and establish engineering best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Drive capability development and technical excellence within the team.
Research & Innovation:
- Stay current with emerging advancements in AI, Robotics, Computer Vision, Autonomous Systems,
and Digital Twin technologies.
- Evaluate and implement current tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve product capabilities and engineering productivity.
- Drive R&D; initiatives focused on next-generation robotic solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience
- 6-8 years of experience in Robotics, AI, Computer Vision, Autonomous Systems, or related domains.
- Proven experience leading technical projects and managing engineering teams.
- Strong experience in designing and deploying production-grade robotics applications.
Technical Skills
Programming & Software Development
- Strong programming expertise in Python and C++.
- Extensive experience with C++11, C++14, and C++17 standards.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Multi-threading, and Concurrent Programming.
Computer Vision & AI
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV (Python/C++).
- Strong understanding of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Object Detection, Recognition, and Tracking techniques.
- Working knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as:
- PyTorch
- TensorFlow
Robotics & Sensor Fusion
- Strong experience with ROS/ROS2 middleware and ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience integrating and processing data from:
- LiDAR (2D & 3D Point Clouds)
- RGB & RGB-D Cameras
- Radar
- Ultrasonic Sensors
- Infrared Sensors
- Expertise in Sensor Fusion techniques for autonomous and intelligent robotic systems.
Simulation & Digital Twins
- Experience building robotics simulations using:
- Gazebo
- Unity
- Unreal Engine
- Exposure to:
- NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- NVIDIA Omniverse
Cloud & Containerization
- Experience creating and managing production-grade containerized applications.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Cloud-native deployment frameworks
- Experience deploying robotic workloads in cloud or edge environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Mechanical CAD models and engineering design files.
- Exposure to Generative AI and AI Agent frameworks.
- Knowledge of autonomous navigation, path planning, and robotic motion control.
- Experience with Digital Twin platforms and simulation-based testing.
- Understanding of MLOps or AI deployment pipelines.
- Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing robotics, or autonomous systems.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
