Video Creator and Editor

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented Video Creator and Editor with 3+ years of experience in producing high-quality videos for digital platforms, with a strong focus on SaaS product storytelling. You will transform complex product features, storyboards, and concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling narratives that drive user understanding and engagement. The ideal candidate should be able to independently execute videos from storyboards and briefs, have a good understanding of basic graphic design and presentation editing, and be comfortable exploring available and AI-powered tools to find efficient solutions.

What You'll Own

Video Production & Editing

- Edit raw footage and screen recordings into polished, high-quality product videos aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create videos independently from storyboards, scripts, PPTs, and creative briefs.
- Create engaging videos for product demos, explainer videos, onboarding flows, website, and marketing campaigns.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, sound design, and visual effects as required.
- Deliver projects efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting agreed timelines.

SaaS Storytelling

- Translate SaaS features and workflows into easy-to-understand visual stories.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and design teams to understand requirements and deliver impactful content.
- Optimize videos for different platforms including websites and social media.

Motion Graphics & Animation

- Create motion graphics, UI animations, and product visualizations to enhance video content.
- Work with designers to ensure visual consistency across all video assets.
- Interpret storyboard directions and translate them into appropriate visual treatments, animations, and transitions.

Technical Proficiency

- Work with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Utilize screen recording tools for product walkthrough videos.




- Have basic working knowledge of PowerPoint and graphic/image editing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or equivalent.
- Leverage AI video tools including Runway, Veo, and similar platforms for enhanced productivity.
- Be comfortable exploring free AI, and other available tools to solve creative requirements and improve production efficiency.

Asset Management

- Manage and organize video assets, project files, and version control.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality and consistency across all outputs.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively find solutions to creative or technical challenges.

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing.
- Proven experience in SaaS / product-based video production (mandatory).
- Proven ability to create videos from storyboards, scripts, PPTs, and briefs.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with screen recording tools and product walkthrough videos.
- Familiarity with AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Veo, Higgsfield AI) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of PowerPoint and graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or equivalent is preferred.
- Solid understanding of editing principles, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and audio editing.
- Experience in motion graphics, UI animation, and product visualization preferred.
- Understanding of UX/UI concepts for product walkthroughs.
- Exposure to short-form video formats (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Solid problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
