Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Spare Parts Manager to manage the complete spare parts operations, including purchasing, inventory management, stock control, issuing of parts and coordination with the service and sales teams. The candidate should have good knowledge of automobile spare parts and strong inventory management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete spare parts inventory and warehouse operations.
- Ensure adequate availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts.
- Identify and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Prepare spare parts requirements and coordinate with suppliers/vendors for procurement.
- Receive, inspect and properly store incoming spare parts.
- Issue spare parts to the workshop/service team as per job requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers and returns.
- Monitor stock levels and avoid overstocking or stock shortages.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete and damaged parts.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and arrangement of all spare parts.
- Coordinate with the Service Advisor, Technicians, Workshop Manager and Accounts Team.
- Ensure timely availability of parts for vehicle repair and servicing.
- Verify part numbers, quantities and prices before ordering or issuing parts.
- Manage supplier relationships and follow up on pending orders.




- Monitor purchase prices and support cost control.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly spare parts reports.
- Ensure proper billing and documentation for spare parts.
- Maintain records in ERP/Inventory software, Excel or other systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workshop safety standards.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts and components.
- Good inventory and stock management skills.
- Knowledge of part numbers and vehicle components.
- Positive vendor/supplier management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage a team and warehouse operations.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Graduate preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in automobile spare parts management preferred.
- Experience in an automobile dealership, workshop or service centre will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in automobile spare parts inventory, procurement or warehouse management will be preferred.
