Job Overview

We are looking for a agile, result-oriented, and technically driven Medical Sales Executive / Product Specialist to join our Surgical Division and drive the growth of our advanced medical device portfolio. The role will primarily focus on Electro Surgical Units (ESU), surgical instruments, and allied surgical products. The candidate will work closely with surgeons, OT teams, biomedical engineers, and hospital procurement teams. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that combines sales, product demonstration, clinical support, and relationship management. The candidate should be comfortable working inside Operating Theatres (OTs), including providing hands-on product demonstrations and technical support during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for ESUs, surgical instruments, and allied medical products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, nursing homes, surgical centres, and clinics.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for surgeons, hospital management, biomedical engineers, and purchase teams.
- Generate leads, follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations, and support the sales process through order closure.

2. OT Product Demonstrations & Clinical Support





- Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands-on technical support inside the Operating Theatre (OT).
- Support surgeons and OT staff during product trials and demonstrations.
- Demonstrate appropriate product features, functionality, and applications to build user confidence.
- Coordinate with the technical/service team for installation, commissioning, and product-related requirements.
- Ensure proper product utilization and provide basic troubleshooting support to customers.

3. Customer & Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, OT in-charges, biomedical engineers, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
- Regularly visit existing customers to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling.
- Handle customer queries professionally and ensure timely coordination for after-sales requirements.

4. Market Intelligence

- Monitor competitor products, pricing, activities, and market positioning.
- Identify emerging market trends and potential customer segments.
- Maintain updated information on hospitals, surgeons, surgical specialties, and key accounts within the assigned territory.
- Provide regular market feedback to the management team. 5. Territory & Sales Management
- Plan daily and weekly field visits effectively to maximize business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer meetings, leads, demonstrations, quotations, and sales activities.
- Achieve territory-wise revenue and product-wise sales objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications Education

Bachelor's degree in any of the following preferred disciplines:

- Biomedical Engineering
- B.A. / B.Com B.Sc. Business Administration / BBA
- Other relevant medical or life-science qualifications
