Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant supports the accounting and finance department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and bank deposits.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Record journal entries and update the general ledger.
- Monitor and track company expenses and budgets.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation and information.
- Maintain filing systems for financial records and reports.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:





- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
