Position: Linux Administrator

Location: Delhi
Experience: 4–7 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux servers and systems.
- Manage Linux server performance, availability, and capacity.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, and access controls.
- Configure and manage services such as Apache/Nginx, SSH, DNS, DHCP, FTP/SFTP, etc.
- Perform server patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery activities.
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk utilization, processes, and system logs.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, application, and network-related issues.
- Implement system hardening and security best practices.
- Manage file systems, LVM, storage, and disk partitions.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell/Bash scripting.
- Handle incident, change, and problem management as per defined procedures.
- Maintain system documentation, operational reports, and configuration records.
- Coordinate with network, security, application,



and vendor teams for issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in Linux System Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu or other enterprise Linux distributions.
- Good knowledge of Linux commands, system administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Shell/Bash scripting.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, and basic networking concepts.
- Knowledge of server security, patch management, backup, and system hardening.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
