About the Role

Lead end-to-end Business Accounting operations across Project Accounting, Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis and Financial Reporting activities. Drive financial governance, operational excellence, stakeholder management, process transformation and team leadership for global BASF business units.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee Project Accounting, Product Costing, Cost Center & Profitability Accounting processes.
- Manage month-end close, financial reporting,



cost allocations, profitability analysis and inventory valuation activities.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance and integrity of financial and management accounting information.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, annual operating planning and performance reporting processes.
- Provide insights on EBIT, profitability, cost optimization and business performance.
- Lead audits, internal controls, compliance and risk management activities.
- Partner with global business leaders and finance stakeholders to support strategic decision making.
- Sponsor process improvement, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and business integration projects.
- Develop, coach and manage high-performing finance teams while maintaining service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting / CMA / CA

- 12 - 18 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Controlling, Costing, Financial Reporting or Shared Services environments.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and people management experience.
- Leading team of 10 employees.

- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in global and multicultural environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Global Business Services / Shared Services organizations.

- Experience leading transformation and automation programs.
