Position: Social Teacher
Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Development: Design and implement age‑appropriate social studies modules for high‑school (HI) students.
- Instruction: Deliver engaging classroom lessons, utilizing diverse teaching methods to enhance understanding of social sciences, civic responsibilities, and cultural diversity.
- Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom climate, encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and reflection.
- Assessment & Feedback: Conduct regular evaluations (tests, projects, class participation) and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress for internal monitoring and external reporting.

- Lesson planning and curriculum development skills
- Ability to conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Positive collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and NGO staff
- Good record-keeping and student progress reporting skills
- Basic computer and classroom technology skills, including projectors, whiteboards, and educational applications

Qualifications & Experience

- Educational: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) with a specialization in Social Sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- Teaching Certification: Valid teaching license for high‑school education.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years teaching social studies in a school or community‑based setting.
