Academic Head cum Operations

SLBS Marklance – Vyttila, Kochi, Kerala

SLBS Marklance is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Academic Head cum Operations to manage academic activities, faculty coordination, student experience, and overall branch operations at our Vyttila branch.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day academic and branch operations.

* Plan and monitor academic schedules, classes, examinations, and training programs.

* Coordinate with faculty, trainers, and academic teams.

* Monitor faculty performance, attendance, class quality, and student feedback.

* Manage student onboarding, academic support, and issue resolution.

* Track student progress, attendance, performance, and course completion.

* Maintain academic records, reports, and operational documentation.

* Coordinate with management and other departments for smooth branch functioning.

* Handle student and parent queries professionally.

* Identify operational gaps and implement improvements.

* Ensure discipline, compliance, and professional standards.

* Support student engagement, retention, placements, and overall satisfaction.

* Prepare regular academic and operational reports for management.





Requirements

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any relevant field.

* 3–6 years of experience in academic administration, education management, branch operations, or similar roles.

* Experience managing faculty/training teams and students.

* Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

* Good knowledge of academic planning and operational management.

* Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a target-driven setting.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and basic reporting tools.

* Prior experience in the education/training industry is an added advantage.

* *Candidates must be currently based in Kerala.*
