Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and a keen understanding of current fashion trends. With a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development:

Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create fashion-forward and marketable designs.

Assist in the development of sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings.

- Trend Research:

Stay updated on current and emerging fashion trends, materials, and techniques.

Contribute to trend analysis and mood board creation.

- Fabric and Material Selection:

Work closely with the team to source and select appropriate fabrics and materials for designs.

Research and stay informed about sustainable and innovative materials in the fashion industry.

- Prototyping and Sampling:

Participate in the prototyping and sampling process, ensuring designs are translated accurately from concept to physical samples.

Collaborate with pattern makers and sample development teams.

- Technical Skills:

Demonstrate proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant tools.

Understand garment construction and have the ability to create detailed technical drawings.

- Team Collaboration:





Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and merchandising, to ensure a cohesive and marketable product line.

- Presentation Skills:

Present design concepts and ideas clearly and compellingly.

Effectively communicate and receive feedback during design reviews.

- Portfolio Maintenance:

Regularly update and maintain a comprehensive portfolio showcasing design work, sketches, and completed projects.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in fashion design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of diverse design styles.
- Enrolled in or completed a relevant degree in fashion design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and a passion for the industry.
