Position- Vendor Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Vendor Sourcing & Identification: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers aligned with business requirements.

· Onboarding & Audit: Evaluate potential vendors based on technical capability, capacity, quality systems, financial stability, and compliance. Conduct physical or virtual vendor site audits.

· Contract & Price Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, lead times, warranty conditions, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality.

· Performance Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess ongoing vendor performance regarding delivery punctuality, defect rates, and responsiveness.

· Relationship Management: Maintain strategic,



long-term relationships with key suppliers to encourage continuous improvement and secure priority support during supply shortages.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate supplier databases, contract documentation, compliance records, and quarterly performance scorecards.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Education: DME or BE(Mech) with

· Experience: 2-3 Yrs experience of sheetmetal industry in raw material (metal sheet coils, tooling, laser cutting, bending) vendor search & selection.

Software Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel, Email, telephone etiquettes.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
