Press Shop Supervisor – Wiring Harness Industry

- Supervise daily press shop production activities as per production plan.
- Operate and monitor terminal crimping, cutting, stripping and pressing machines.
- Ensure quality, productivity and timely completion of production targets.
- Allocate manpower and monitor operator attendance and performance.
- Set up machines, dies, applicators and tools as per production requirements.
- Ensure correct crimping, cutting length, stripping length and terminal insertion.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of raw materials, terminals and wires.
- Maintain production, rejection, downtime and machine records.
- Control process rejection, rework and material wastage.




- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Train and guide operators on machine operation and work instructions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and HR teams.
- Identify process issues and implement corrective and improvement actions.
- Ensure proper shift handover and communicate pending issues to the next shift.
- Support internal/customer audits and maintain required records.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and manpower efficiency.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹32,862.05 per month
