Position: Window & Door Estimator

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Window & Door Estimator to prepare accurate estimates, BOQs, quotations, and costing for uPVC and aluminium windows and doors. The candidate will work closely with the Sales, Design, Production, Purchase, and Installation teams to ensure accurate estimation and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed estimates, BOQs, and quotations for uPVC and aluminium windows and doors.
- Analyse architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and site measurements.
- Calculate quantities for profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, reinforcement, sealants, and other required materials.
- Prepare project-wise material and cost calculations based on specifications and requirements.
- Review window and door schedules and identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Design teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Assist in preparing accurate pricing based on material specifications, dimensions, quantities, and project requirements.
- Review site measurements and verify dimensions before final estimation wherever required.
- Prepare revised estimates and quotations based on changes in drawings, specifications, or client requirements.
- Coordinate with the Production and Purchase teams regarding material availability, specifications, and costing.
- Maintain proper records of estimates, BOQs, quotations, revisions, and project-related costing.
- Ensure estimates are prepared accurately within the required timelines.
- Support the Sales team with technical and commercial inputs during quotation and negotiation stages.




- Identify potential costing variations and highlight them to the concerned team.
- Maintain confidentiality of company pricing, costing, vendor rates, and commercial information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation/costing of windows, doors, façade, aluminium, uPVC, or related building products.
- Strong understanding of uPVC and aluminium window & door systems.
- Knowledge of profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, reinforcement, and installation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and architectural plans.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, costing, and estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimation-related software/tools.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
