Job Summary

Car Body Workshop is looking for an experienced and responsible Workshop Supervisor to manage daily workshop operations and ensure that car body repair, denting, painting, and fabrication jobs are completed efficiently and on time.

The ideal candidate should be capable of supervising technicians and workers, coordinating multiple jobs, maintaining workflow, and ensuring proper quality and timely delivery of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities
- Allocate work to technicians, denting/panting staff, fabricators, and other workers
- Monitor the progress of customer vehicles and ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle work and job status
- Check the quality of denting, painting, body repair, and fabrication work
- Ensure proper use and handling of workshop tools, equipment, and materials
- Monitor material and spare-part requirements and coordinate with management
- Maintain daily job/work status and provide updates to management
- Ensure vehicles are handled safely and properly within the workshop
- Coordinate with the Accountant regarding job completion, billing,



and customer payments when required
- Maintain discipline and productivity among workshop staff
- Identify delays, quality issues, or operational problems and take corrective action
- Ensure the workshop remains clean, organized, and safe
- Handle other workshop-related responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Automobile Supervisor, Body Shop Supervisor, or similar role
- Practical knowledge of car denting, painting, body repair, and fabrication work
- Ability to manage and supervise workshop workers
- Positive understanding of automobile body repair processes
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles/jobs simultaneously
- Responsible, disciplined, and problem-solving attitude
- Previous experience in an automobile body shop/workshop is preferred

Education

ITI / Diploma / relevant automobile experience preferred.

Salary

₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in car body works, denting & painting, fabrication, or automobile workshops will be given preference.
