Experience - 1 - 2 years

We are looking for a skilled Machine Shop Engineer who can analyse engineering drawings and convert technical requirements into practical, cost-effective manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review 2D engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, material grades and surface-finish requirements.
- Calculate raw material sizes, quantities and machining allowances.
- Prepare manufacturing processes and operation sequences.
- Select appropriate processes, including CNC turning, VMC milling, conventional machining, grinding, EDM and wire cutting.
- Coordinate heat treatment, coating, plating and other outsourced processes.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality and external vendors.
- Provide technical clarification and resolve drawing- and process-related queries.




- Monitor manufacturing progress to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Coordinate inspection and verify components against drawing requirements.
- Maintain manufacturing, inspection and vendor-related records.

Required Skills:

- Solid knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Experience in raw-material calculation using 2D drawings
- Knowledge of CNC turning, VMC, milling, lathe and grinding processes
- Understanding of machining allowances, tolerances and surface finishes
- Vendor coordination and process-planning skills
- Strong problem-solving and technical coordination abilities
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring instruments
