Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quotations, BOQs, and commercial proposals for projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of engineering drawings, material costing, quantity take-offs, vendor quotations, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, BOQs, and commercial proposals.
- Review project drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
- Perform accurate quantity take-off from engineering drawings and project documents.
- Calculate material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and other project costs.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Compare vendor quotations and negotiate for competitive pricing.
- Prepare rate analysis and maintain estimation databases.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost variations.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales teams.
- Participate in tender preparation and submission within specified timelines.
- Analyze previous project costs and use historical data for future estimates.
- Track changes in project scope and update estimates accordingly.
- Ensure estimates are accurate, commercially viable,



and aligned with project requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of estimates, quotations, and supporting calculations.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of cost estimation and quantity surveying.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Knowledge of material and labor costing.
- Vendor/subcontractor quotation analysis.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in estimation, tendering, costing, or project engineering.

Experience

1- 3 years of relevant experience in estimation and costing.

Preferred

- Experience in construction, EPC, manufacturing, MEP, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
- Knowledge of estimation software/ERP systems and AutoCAD.
- Experience handling tenders and large-scale project proposals.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
