Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services, conduct vision assessments, identify common eye conditions, and assist customers/patients with suitable vision correction solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and a caring approach toward patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Perform refraction and determine appropriate spectacle or contact lens prescriptions.
- Assess visual acuity and identify common vision-related problems.
- Recommend suitable spectacles, contact lenses, and other vision correction options.
- Educate patients about eye care, eye health, and proper use of corrective lenses.
- Identify signs of eye diseases or conditions requiring referral to an ophthalmologist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
- Provide pre- and post-dispensing support to customers.
- Ensure proper fitting and adjustment of spectacles and contact lenses.
- Handle customer queries professionally and provide appropriate guidance.




- Follow clinical and organizational protocols for eye examinations and patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of optometry equipment.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Optometry (B.Optom/M.Optom) or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Valid registration/licensing as applicable to the location.
- Good clinical and communication skills.
- Solid attention to detail and patient-care orientation.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain patient records.

Preferred Skills

- Good knowledge of refraction and vision assessment.
- Knowledge of contact lens fitting and management.
- Good interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of different age groups.
- Professional, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Thrissur, Kerala
