Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Engineer – Production with strong hands-on experience in CNC & VMC programming, machine setting and production operations in the automotive/auto-component industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily CNC & VMC production operations and achieve production targets.
- Develop, edit and modify CNC/VMC programs using G-code and M-code.
- Monitor machine settings, process parameters, tool life and cutting parameters.
- Manage tool offsets, wear offsets and machine settings.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling and dimensional issues.
- Monitor rejection, rework and productivity and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling and Stores teams.
- Manage operators and manpower utilization.
- Drive 5S,



Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain production reports and manufacturing records.

Must-Have Skills

- Hands-on CNC & VMC programming – Mandatory
- G-code / M-code knowledge and program editing.
- CNC/VMC machine setting and tool offset knowledge.
- Good knowledge of 2D drawings and GD&T;.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Production, productivity and OEE knowledge.
- Automotive manufacturing/machining experience.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on Production Engineer with practical experience in CNC/VMC programming + machine setting + production handling, preferably from the automotive or auto-component manufacturing industry.
