Senior Admissions Counsellor

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Admissions Counsellor who can guide students and working professionals in choosing the right higher-education programs while driving admissions and contributing to the growth of the organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a student-first approach, and experience in admissions, education counselling, inside sales, or EdTech.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and working professionals regarding MBA, BBA, BA, and other higher-education programs.
- Understand candidates’ educational and career goals and recommend suitable courses and universities.
- Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Explain course structure, eligibility, fees, admission process, university details, and career opportunities.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and build strong relationships with prospective students.
- Handle objections and resolve queries professionally to improve conversion.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.




- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Stay updated about available programs, university offerings, scholarships, and admission policies.
- Support and guide junior counsellors when required.

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in Admissions Counselling, Education Counselling, EdTech, Inside Sales, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Experience in handling admission or sales targets.
- Comfortable communicating with students, parents, and working professionals.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi.
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
