We are looking for an E-commerce Design & Development Specialist who can take ownership of our e-commerce website — from creating a visually compelling user experience to developing, managing and continuously improving the online store.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of website design, e-commerce development, Shopify and digital user experience, with the ability to balance aesthetics, functionality and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain responsive e-commerce websites.
- Build and manage online stores using Shopify and other relevant e-commerce platforms.
- Create clean, intuitive and premium website layouts focused on user experience and conversions.
- Develop product pages, collections, landing pages, banners and promotional sections.
- Ensure websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Manage website content, products, collections, pricing, images and other store elements.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping solutions, apps, analytics and other third-party tools.
- Work on website performance, speed, SEO fundamentals and conversion optimisation.
- Identify and resolve website bugs, technical issues and usability problems.
- Coordinate with the design, marketing and business teams to execute campaigns and product launches.
- Maintain website consistency with the brand's visual identity.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements based on user behaviour and analytics.




- Stay updated with emerging e-commerce trends, Shopify features, web technologies and digital best practices.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Shopify / Shopify Admin.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design and UI/UX principles.
- Experience with e-commerce website development and management.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes, customisation and third-party apps.
- Understanding of website SEO, Google Analytics and conversion optimisation.
- Good visual sense and attention to typography, spacing, layouts and overall presentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot website and integration-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Shopify Liquid.
- Knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD or similar design tools.
- Experience with payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4 and Meta Pixel.
- Understanding of CRO and e-commerce customer journeys.
- Basic understanding of image optimisation and website performance.
- Experience working with product catalogues and inventory systems.
