About the Role

SmartFin CFO, associated with Bada Business by Dr. Vivek Bindra, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in GST and TDS compliance and related documentation.
- Prepare invoices and maintain proper accounting records.
- Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.
- Prepare MIS reports and other finance-related reports.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.




- Coordinate with internal teams, clients and vendors for accounting-related matters.
- Support audit and other statutory requirements.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com / M.Com / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in ledger and bank reconciliation.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in CA firms, accounting firms, finance companies, or business advisory firms will be preferred.
