Job Title: Staff Nurse (B.Sc. Nursing)

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies. This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, as well as health education and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care:

- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with physician's orders and established hospital protocols.
- Perform nursing assessments and document patient history, symptoms, and vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and monitor responses.
- Assist in diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and surgical preparation/post-op care.
- Monitor patient condition and notify physicians of any changes.

2. Infection Control & Safety:

- Follow hand hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as per NABH/institutional guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of patient care areas.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided.
- Record patient data in electronic or manual medical records as required.
- Report and document incidents,



medication errors, or patient safety issues.

4. Communication:

- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and other members of the healthcare team.

5. Equipment and Inventory Management:

- Use and maintain medical equipment appropriately.
- Monitor availability of supplies and request replenishment as necessary.

6. Emergency Management:

- Respond promptly to emergencies, including CPR, code blue, and disaster response situations.
- Participate in mock drills and emergency training as required.

7. Professional Conduct and Development:

- Adhere to nursing code of ethics and hospital policies.
- Participate in continuous nursing education, audits, and in-service training.
- Comply with NABH standards, safety protocols, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university/institution.
- Registered with the State Nursing Council.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, communication, and empathy.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
