Job Summary

Integration Operations Lead JD – Coles Overview : The Integration Operations Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise integrations across hybrid environments, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Confluent Kafka, Node JS, Type Script, Python, on-premises platforms such as IBM, BMC Control-M & other related monitoring, logging & management tools. This role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange between cloud, on-premise, legacy and external systems, while driving modernization and continuous improvement of integration services by project delivery teams. Responsibilities Minimum relevant experience of 12 years in any of the 3 or more integration solutions listed below that exist in Coles integration landscape – MUST IBM IIB/ACEBoomiIBM DataStageAzure ADF & ADB based integration solutionsIBM Sterling Integrator - B2B GatewayIBM MQ, MFT & Connect DirectConfluent KafkaJava Microservices deployed in AKS ClusterAzure API ManagementBespoke integration solutions using NodeJS, Typescript, AKS, Terraform, Argocd, Azure DevOpsBMC Control-MAvailability during out-of-office hours & weekend support for critical incidents & tasks – MUST Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform) - MUST Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews – MUST Lead offshore team (L1.5 & L2), provide technical guidance, and regular feedback to team in improving overall effectiveness – MUST Exhibit a strong understanding of Azure cloud environments – MUST Participate in project technical knowledge transitions, hand off deliverables & sign off requirements.Define and track SLAs, KPIs, and operational metricsPossess hands‑on experience with monitoring, observability & service management tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log analytics workspace, KQL, Splunk and ServiceNowActively participate in major incidents and service‑impacting issues, serving as the escalation pointLead Problem Management initiatives, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to simplify operations and enhance efficiency.Collaborate closely with the Onsite Lead & Coles Operations Manager to establish operational efficiencies, standards and best practices.
