Job Summary

The Carpenter is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and modification of wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, windows, partitions, and other carpentry works within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform carpentry repair and maintenance work as assigned by the supervisor.
- Repair and maintain wooden doors, windows, frames, cabinets, tables, chairs, and other furniture.
- Install and repair wooden partitions, shelves, panels, and fixtures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other carpentry materials.
- Replace damaged hinges, locks, handles, drawer fittings, and other hardware.
- Inspect furniture and wooden structures for damage and carry out necessary repairs.
- Assist in renovation and interior maintenance works.
- Perform minor polishing, finishing, and surface repair work.
- Safely operate carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area after completing work.
- Report major damages or material requirements to the supervisor.
- Maintain records of completed maintenance and repair activities when required.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).




- Coordinate with other maintenance teams when carrying out facility repair work.
- Perform other carpentry and maintenance duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of carpentry and furniture repair
- Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
- Knowledge of wood, plywood, laminates, and related materials
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of hardware and fittings
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Good teamwork and communication
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Carpenter, preferably in facility management, commercial buildings, residential buildings, hotels, or similar environments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

- Secondary(10th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:
