We are looking for a skilled and energetic News Cameraman to join our news media team. The candidate will be responsible for covering news events, interviews, field reporting, and other assignments while ensuring high-quality video footage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cover breaking news, events, interviews, and on-ground assignments.
* Operate professional cameras and other video equipment.
* Capture clear and engaging video footage suitable for digital news platforms.
* Coordinate with reporters and editors during field assignments.
* Handle basic camera equipment setup and troubleshooting.
* Ensure proper framing, lighting, focus, and audio quality.
* Travel to different locations for news coverage as required.
* Transfer and organize footage for the editing team.
* Follow newsroom deadlines and maintain professional standards.
Requirements:
* 1–3 years of experience as a News Cameraman/Video Cameraman preferred.
* Knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment.
* Positive understanding of framing, composition, and camera angles.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Willingness to travel for field assignments.
* Experience in news media/digital media will be an advantage.
