Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and robust hands-on knowledge of CANDY Construction Software.

The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-off, estimation, cost analysis, rate analysis, tender preparation, and related commercial/technical activities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, project specifications, and construction methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, and cost calculations for construction projects.
- Use CANDY software for quantity measurement, estimating, and project-related commercial activities.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Assist in preparation of tender estimates and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, and Project teams.
- Prepare material and resource requirements based on project quantities.
- Monitor quantities, costs, and variations during project execution.
- Assist in preparation of interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts where required.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, estimates, revisions, and project costs.




- Ensure estimates and quantity calculations are accurate and completed within deadlines.
- Participate in site visits and coordinate with site teams whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in civil construction, estimation, quantity surveying, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with CANDY Construction Software is mandatory/preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, estimation, and rate analysis.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a project team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in building construction, infrastructure, commercial projects, residential projects, or civil contracting will be preferred.

Experience in tendering, pre-contract estimation, post-contract quantity management, variations, and cost control will be an added advantage.
