- Purpose of the Role - The Sr. Analyst # Planning & Strategy supports the development and execution of business plans by providing data-driven insights and structured analysis. The role involves evaluating market trends, tracking performance, and enabling strategic decision-making through robust analytics and reporting. The individual works closely with cross-functional teams to drive planning cycles, monitor key initiatives, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparation and consolidation of budgets, ensuring alignment with business priorities

- Track and monitor budget utilization vs plan, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions

- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and management review materials

- Track progress of key initiatives and provide insights on performance vs plan and budget

- Work with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and align on budget inputs

- Prepare presentations and insights for leadership reviews, including budget performance updates

- Drive data integrity and standardization across planning, budgeting, and reporting processes





- Automate and improve reporting, budgeting, and analytics processes using digital tools

- Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support on financial and budget-related matters

Education Requirement :

- Bachelor#s degree in Engineering / Economics / Finance / Business or related fields
- MBA or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience Requirement :

- 3#6 years of experience in planning, strategy, consulting, or analytics roles

- Experience in business performance analysis, reporting, and planning cycles

- Exposure to financial analysis, forecasting, or market research preferred

- Experience with data visualization or analytics tools is an advantage

Skills & Competencies :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good understanding of financial and business metrics

- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint; exposure to BI tools preferred)

- Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations

- Robust communication and presentation skills

- Good stakeholder management and collaboration ability

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work under timelines and manage multiple priorities

Basic understanding of business strategy and planning frameworks
