About the Business

Vivo Body & Skin Clinic is a multi-location, high-volume aesthetics business operating internationally.
We specialise in non-invasive medical aesthetic treatments and operate a large, complex web ecosystem across WordPress and Shopify.

We are currently undergoing major architectural, structural, and performance-driven rebuilds of our digital platforms.

We are not looking for a website builder.

We are looking for someone who can build, structure, and evolve our platforms in a way that consistently achieves first-page and top-position rankings for the keywords and markets that matter to our business.

We want a 10/10, best-in-class, first-place standard website — not an average one.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior WordPress / Shopify Developer for an immediate start.

This role is:

- 100% remote (work from home)
- Full-time or part-time (pro-rata)
- Senior, performance-owned, results-accountable

You may be:

- A strong WordPress developer
- Or a strong Shopify developer
- Or experienced in both

This role does not require you to be expert in both, but you must be expert in building, structuring, and evolving sites that perform, scale, and rank.

Reporting, Management & Ways of Working

- You will report to senior management every single day
- You will join daily meetings for team direction and alignment
- Your work will be:
- Continuously reviewed
- Measured
- Audited
- Compared against targets and standards
- At every stage:
- You will be given direction
- Your output will be checked
- Your work must meet a high, non-negotiable standard

Core Responsibilities

- Architect, rebuild, and restructure parts of the WordPress and/or Shopify platforms
- Control HTML output at theme and template level
- Enforce correct heading hierarchy (H1–H6)
- Ensure clean semantic markup and logical DOM structure
- Implement and maintain:
- Meta tags
- Canonicals
- Robots directives
- Implement Schema (JSON-LD) correctly
- Ensure sites are:
- Crawlable
- Indexable
- Structurally logical
- Machine-readable
- Identify and fix:
- Structural issues
- Rendering issues
- Template logic issues
- Performance and indexation issues
- Work daily with senior management and the wider team
- Follow strict technical and architectural direction
- Build with:
- Scalability in mind
- Long-term maintainability
- Performance as a priority

What This Role Is NOT

This role is not suitable for:

- Junior developers
- Developers “gaining experience”
- Website builders
- People who only know how to assemble themes and plugins
- People who cannot explain, reason,



or take ownership of outcomes

Required Experience

- Minimum 10 years professional experience
- Robust experience in WordPress and/or Shopify
- Strong knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP (for WordPress)
- Proven experience:
- Controlling structure and output
- Implementing schema
- Building large, scalable sites
- Proven track record of building or working on sites that rank on the first page
- Ability to:
- Explain your thinking
- Justify decisions
- Teach others
- Solve complex problems

Mandatory Technical Test (Pass / Fail)

All candidates must complete a real technical test.

You will be asked to:

- Build or fix one WordPress or Shopify page
- Demonstrate:
- Correct structure
- Correct hierarchy
- Correct markup
- Correct reasoning

This is pass or fail.

Salary, Buyout & Bonus

Salary range:
₹50,000 to ₹2,00,000 per month (depending on capability, experience, and track record)

- If you are currently employed, we are open to a buyout / notice buyout for the right candidate.
- This is also a performance-bonus role:
- If you deliver the results we expect
- There are bonuses on top of salary that can exceed normal compensation
