Key Responsibilities

- Dispensing Medications: Accurately preparing, packaging, and labeling prescriptions written by doctors or other health providers.
- Patient Counseling: Explaining correct dosages, administration methods, potential side effects, and safe storage.
- Safety Checks: Reviewing patient medical histories and current drug use to prevent harmful drug interactions and allergies.
- Clinical Support: Partnering with physicians and nurses to monitor, evaluate, and optimize patient treatment plans.
- Health Services: Administering vaccinations (such as flu shots) and performing basic wellness screenings like blood pressure checks.
- Operations & Management: Overseeing pharmacy technicians, managing inventory, and maintaining legal compliance with medical regulations.

Common Work Environments

- Community Pharmacies: Retail or independent drugstores helping walk-in customers and filling daily prescriptions.
- Hospitals and Clinics: Clinical settings where pharmacists join medical rounds and manage complex patient care

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
