About the Role

Vedantu is looking for passionate and knowledgeable Coding Tutors to conduct engaging one-to-one online coding sessions for students.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming and be comfortable teaching coding concepts in a easy and engaging way. Candidates with knowledge or teaching experience in HTML, Java, and C will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-to-one online coding classes for students.
- Teach programming concepts in a simple and structured manner.
- Help students understand coding fundamentals, logic, and problem-solving.
- Guide students through coding exercises and practical problems.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt the teaching approach accordingly.
- Encourage students to develop logical and computational thinking.
- Resolve student doubts and provide constructive feedback.
- Keep online sessions interactive and engaging.
- Follow the prescribed curriculum and teaching methodology.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism during all sessions.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with strong knowledge or teaching experience in the following will be preferred:

- HTML
- Java
- C
- Programming Fundamentals
- Logical & Computational Thinking
- Problem Solving

Candidates with experience in online coding tutoring or teaching students will be an added advantage.

Eligibility





- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong programming fundamentals.
- Prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or training experience is preferred.
- Good spoken English and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.
- Comfortable conducting one-to-one online classes.
- Basic knowledge of online teaching tools.
- Must have a laptop/desktop and stable internet connection.
- Must be comfortable working during the required late-evening/early-morning hours.

Working Hours

4:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST

- Maximum teaching time: 4 hours per day
- Actual teaching hours may depend on student schedules and session allocation.

Compensation

- ₹250 per 1-hour session
- ₹125 per 30-minute session
- Payment is based on the sessions conducted, as per the applicable company process.
